Lesson Plan Overview: For The Valentines Plan
Here is an overview for this yoga lesson plan.
The plan has several partner yoga exercises. Partner yoga is a wonderful way to cultivate love, as it enhances communication through attentive listening to your partner’s verbal and non-verbal cues, deepens your emotional connection, and adds a playful element to your practice. By working together, you can amplify the benefits of each pose, improving flexibility and fostering a greater sense of intimacy—both on and off the mat. The partner poses in the plan include: Engage Core I Partner Pose, Seated Twist Partner Pose, Seated Side Bend Partner Pose, Camel Partner Pose, and Elevator Partner Pose.
The plan also includes some heart opening poses: Upward Facing Dog Pose, Supine Star Pose, Camel With Namaste Hands Pose, and Standing Backbend Pose. Heart opening poses create freedom and space around your heart. They make room for you to love more.
