Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Inhale one-third of lung capacity and swing arms up in front of body, bringing them parallel to each other at shoulder level, palms facing ceiling. Continue inhaling to two-thirds capacity and stretch arms out to side like wings to shoulder level. Inhale to full capacity, swing arms parallel and over head, palms facing each other. Open mouth and exhale completely with an audible ha, bending knees more deeply as you sink into a standing squat and swing your arms down and back behind you like a diver. Repeat several times. Return to standing. Close eyes. Feel the effects. Notice how quickly your heart beats. Feel the sensations in your face and arms. Feel tingling in your palms. Feel the joy.
Stimulates sympathetic nervous system and prana. Detoxifying.
Add a bija (seed) mantra to each arm movement (e.g. va, ra, ya, ha).
High blood pressure. Lighted headed.
