Hi there! I’m George Watts—the yoga teacher and enthusiastic story-tinkerer behind Matti’s Moonlit Kids Yoga Stories.
I created this collection because kids yoga storytelling should feel magical for the children—not like homework for the grown-up leading it.
Each story gives you a ready-made beginning, middle and end, with four simple movement moments woven through it. Choose a card, read it aloud, and let Matti do the moonlit wandering while you keep the class moving.
Use the bright yellow cards on a screen, print the white ink-saving edition, and adapt the words, pace and poses to suit the children in front of you. There is no perfect performance required. If everyone moves, imagines and finishes a little calmer, the story has done its job.
I hope these cards save you preparation time and give your class a small pocket of moonlit magic.
