How To Approach HR Managers To Set Up A Corporate Yoga Program In Only 4 Steps
Here’s a quick yoga marketing tip from the Yoga Teacher Business Kit.
I recently had an email from a HR manager from my local council asking to join my yoga class.
Below is my reply to her email (the XYZ is private info)….
START OF EMAIL
Hi [First Name],
I just went snooping around on LinkedIn and saw your title: “HR Adviser at XYZ County Council”. Could I be cheeky and ask you to advise the Council to recommend my yoga class to their staff. Could they put my yoga class page (https://georgewatts.org/services/yogaclasses) on their site?
OK, time to break out the “studies” as a compelling reason to promote yoga to Council employees…
Studies show that health and well-being programmes have a positive impact including:
* reduced sickness absence
* reduced staff turnover
* reduced resource allocation
* increased employee satisfaction
* higher productivity
Here’s a link about “Office Yoga” on my site: https://georgewatts.org/services/yoga-at-work/
The first class is free, plus I will give all council workers a £1 per class discount.
If that sounds interesting, please call me on XYZ.
END OF EMAIL
That one email, which only took me 5 minutes to write, could easily bring in dozens of new students over the next few months. And that’s without spending a single penny on advertising. All it took was a friendly email to one of my students.
Here are the 4 simple steps to set up a Corporate Yoga Program quickly and easily…
Step 1
Corporate Yoga Page
Set up a Corporate Yoga page on your website. If you don’t have a website, check out my yoga website design service.
Step 2
Use My Text
Feel free to use the text on my Office Yoga Page as a template for your site. All you need to do is change the text a little bit.
Step 3
Email
Copy and paste the email template above into a draft email.
Name it something like “Office Yoga Email”. This will save the email for future reference. Now, when someone influential emails you, use your “Office Yoga Email” as a template. All you need to do is open up the “Office Yoga Email” and copy and paste the words into the reply email.
Step 4
Be Proactive
Don’t stop at “step 3”. Be proactive. Don’t wait for someone influential to send you an email. Instead, build a list of HR Managers in your local area and send them your “Office Yoga Email” (or send a letter using one of the yoga letterheads within the Yoga Teacher Business Kit).
