Sit on ankles (hero pose). Bring two big toes together and let heals spread wide. Draw shoulders away from ears. Place palms of hands on floor with fingers splayed. Inhale a deep breath through nose with mouth closed. Exhale explosively while sticking tongue out, opening mouth as wide as possible, and looking up. The “roar” is a “Haa” sound.
Open throat chakra. Fun. Confidence. Release stress. Finger stretch.
A) Bolster or block between legs. B) Hands on knees. C) Laugh instead of a roar. D) Sit in the lotus position. E) Sit with legs crossed. F) Cat-Cow pose (all fours). Inhale as you tuck into Cat Pose. Release your roar in Cow Pose with a fearless exhale.
