Lie on your back, knees bent. Reach one arm behind you (or both arms at the same time), lengthening the arm while keeping your spine straight. Slide arms back down. Repeat. This can be done in a sliding motion or as an overhead reach.
Mid-back and shoulder mobility.
A) Small rolled towel under the small of your back. B) Supine Star (no movement). C) Snow angels (move arms and legs at the same time).
Don't increase the space in the small of your back (or your spine will be out of alignment).
