Start in Mountain. Spread legs out wide. Raise arms to shoulder height. Toes pointing forward. Palms face up. Join palms over your head. Turn right foot out 90 degrees, and left foot in slightly. Turn upper body and hips to the right. Bend right knee. Look up at fingertips. Lower your head and repeat on other side.
Stretches chest, shoulders, and abdominals. Strengthens arms.
A) High lunge with arms overhead. B) High lunge with backbend. C) High lunge with arms forward. D) High lunge with blocks under hands. E) High lunge with hands on hips. F) Block under back foot. G) Raise back heel on a folded blanket.
