(1) It's Halloween. We need to get to the fun Halloween party, but it's a dangerous journey. Say, "Namaste" to put up a FORCE FIELD to protect you from scary creatures in the dark. (2) Breath in and on the out-breath make a "BOOOOOOO" sound. Try to scare the person next to you. (3) Let's get dressed in our scary outfits. When I say, "FREEZE", stop dressing and freeze. Don't move a muscle or you'll get eaten. "FREEZE!" (4) Let’s go for a walk around our neighbourhood and stop at each house to see if they’ll give us a trick or a treat! What do we see on our walk? Up in that tree is a BLACK CAT (Cat Pose). Hisssss! Meow! (5) We keep walking and come to a BRIDGE (Bridge Pose). (6) Let’s cross over. On the other side of the bridge are lots of scary-looking creatures! (7) There's a LION (Lion's Breath). (8) Yikes! And a WICKED WITCH flying on her broomstick (Warrior III). She's got great balance! (9) Oh no, there's a huge hairy SPIDER, let's hide (Child Pose). (10) There's a GHOST (Boo Breath). (11) And there is a huge SNAKE (Cobra Pose). (12) There is a blood-sucking BAT (Mountain Pose With Arms Flapping). (13) And there is a big hairy RAT with large teeth (Child Pose with arms extended - the arms are the teeth). (14) Phew! We've arrived at the Halloween party! Let's all say, "Happy Halloween!" and BOB FOR APPLES (Down Dog with mouth wide open). (15) You're really tired after your Halloween journey. The wicked witch has seen you at the party and turned you into a SCARY EGYPTIAN MUMMY, wrapped up from head to foot in layers upon layers of white linen. Lie down with hands crossed on chest (Savasana), and pretend you're dead. Scary! (16) It would be even scarier if we all sat up at the same time to scare the other people at the Halloween party. I'm going to count to three and we're going to all sit up. Ready? 1.2.3. Sit up. Do you think you can do that even faster? Lie back down. Ready? 1.2.3. Sit up. Can we go even faster? Ready? 1.2.3. Sit up.
