Find a downloadable Mandala online. Print. Give one to each student with a colouring pen. Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means circle. Create a group circle. Allow everyone to interact with their mandalas without interruption or guidance. It is ok if they colour outside of the lines, or simply sit and look at it. Mandalas are not about the finished product, but about the process of creating and feeling the art.
