Lie on back. Legs in Table Top position. Ring above ankles. Extend arms behind head. Inhale, bring arms towards legs. Exhale, draw belly in and straighten legs. Lower arms beside hips 6 inches above floor. Bend knees. Return hands above head. Repeat.
Strengths abs. Improves upper back flexibility.

Pilates Magic Circle FAQs
What is the Pilates Magic Circle?
The Magic Circle in Pilates is a circular resistance prop that is popular in Pilates matwork and Pilates reformer classes.
It was designed by the inventor of Pilates, Joseph Pilates (click here for all 34 Joseph Pilates exercises with variations for each exercise).
it is made of rubber with small pads on either side to cushion the hands (or ankles) as they push against it. It will provide a variable amount of resistance depending on how hard it is being squeezed.
What are the benefits of Magic Circle exercises?
The Pilates Magic Circle exercises provide gentle resistance for exercises. It doesn’t need to be squeezed very hard at all. It can, however, be squeezed hard to increase the resistance that helps build strength.
Can Magic Circle exercises be done at home?
Yes. All the Magic Circle exercises can be practised from the comfort of your home. All you need is your Magic Circle and mat.
