Classified Yoga Advert Template (MS Word)
Outcome
Download the yoga advert template, and edit it to create a local newspaper (or local directory) advert for your yoga classes. For example, where I live, there is a local directory called “Dodd’s Directory”. That directory goes out to several towns and villages in my local area, and only costs £10. It’s a bargain and always brings in two or more new students every month.
Yoga Advert Template Step 1
Choose
Choose a local newspaper (or local directory) to put an advert in.
Yoga Advert Template Step 2
Edit The Template
Download the template and edit the four parts. I’ve included an overview of the four parts below.
The yoga advert template has four parts:
- Hook In Line
- Call To Action
- Contact
- Photo
Part 1: Hook In Line
The “Hook In Line” is the hook that grabs the attention of the readers.
My advert has the following Hook In Line…
FREE YOGA CLASS IN LLANDRINDOD WELLS
The hook is obviously the word “free”. I think offering a “free” yoga class is the best hook you can use. Though, you might come up with a better hook.
Part 2: Call To Action
The “Call To Action” is the call you give to the readers to take action (pick up the phone to book a class or open their laptop to send you an email asking if there are any spaces in your class).
My advert has the following Call To Action…
Sculpt Your Ideal Body
Free Your True Self
Transform Your Life
Use my Call To Actions, or come up with your own call to action.
Part 3: Contact
Within the “Contact” section, enter your contact details.
Part 4: Photo
Within the “Photo” section, enter a yoga photo. It could be an image of you in a yoga pose, your logo, a yoga stick figure, or anything you think would work well in an advert.
Yoga Advert Template Step 3
Submit The Advert
Email the advert to the newspaper or directory.
Yoga Advert Template Step 4
Find Another
Now that you’ve got an advert, and have already submitted one, find another local paper or directory.
